Texas HMO, First American Administrators and Insurance underwriters. • Works wit legal to support and maintain TPA compliance with the state departments of insurance. • Works with the EyeMed Accounting Group and Independent Auditors to manage statutory accounting and financial reporting requirements. • Provides support and direction and statutory compliance for insurance related growth opportunities. • Supports the EyeMed audit function related to third party health plan audits, claims processing audits,, and other functional area audits. • Coordinates efforts between clients and EyeMed processes to resolve Corrective action plans and procedural improvement opportunities identified by internal and client audits. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS • Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Access • Working knowledge of Oracle Financial and GL applications. • Strong Analytical Skills. • Strong PC software/ program skills. • Good written and verbal communication skills.
