Description:

Junior Project Manager for project initiation; deliverable management, and project oversight and governance:
? Facilitate cross functional IT communications with management teams
? Facilitates team and client meetings effectively; holds regular status meetings with project team
? Establishing and maintaining strong client relationships, facilitating discussions and managing client expectations
? Initiate IT Projects and Project Resources in project portfolio management tool and MassForge project collaboration environment
? Primary support for project status reporting, include resource utilization and organizational forecasts
? Work with project team to identify and schedule all work required to fulfill the project scope;
? Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents, including schedule, resources, risks, issues, budget proposals, change control, and communications plans.
? Communicate project status and issues to project stakeholders, IT Project Management Office, team members, management, partners, suppliers and customers;
? Track and manage the project schedule and work breakdown structure included in the project plan; analyze actual performance against plan and adjust consistent with plan objectives
? Monitor progress and oversee project management process quality by tracking project status, identifying and resolving issues, and escalating problems and issues to key decision makers
? Monitor quality of project deliverables and ensure project objectives are met;
? Deliver and manage project according to budget, scope, staff, and schedule constraints;
? Work with key EOHHS program and policy staff to ensure that project initiatives and deliverables are met by managing resource assignments, tasks, and timelines;
? Coordinate meetings, communicate with stakeholders, and follow-up on all outstanding project issues;
? Develop and coordinate high level program plans and provide scope, schedule, priority and status reports of IT Project Management Office projects;
? Define and monitor project metrics to verify project and program support goals for time, budget and quality;
? Perform other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED AT HIRE (List knowledges, skills, abilities.):

? Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required;
? 5 years of demonstrated experience in project management
? Experience using Project Management tools and applications
? Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills;
? Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail;
? Excellent documentation skills;
? Ability to work with tight deadlines in an ever-changing environment;
? Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications (MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
? Familiarity with government and state agencies a big plus
