The FLDOE OEL seeks the following staff augmentation position; one (1) Applications Database and Reporting Programmer developing in MS SQL Server, writing stored procedures, complex views and functions and utilizing SSRS. The staff augmentation resource will be a valuable asset to the team and to the agency to ensure the success of the project goals. This resource will work closely with the Application Development Manager to facilitate the successful completion of new and enhancement requests for EFS Mod. Required Qualifications & Skills: • FLDOE OEL is seeking an Applications Development Analyst with a strong background in MS T/SQL, writing stored procedures, user functions using complex objects and patterns with the following minimum qualifications (must be clearly stated on the resume and verifiable via reference checks): Required: • 5+ years experience working with MS SQL database management systems in database design, testing, implementation, maintenance and administration of multiple platform environment. • May manage and maintain production and non-production databases. • 5+ years experience writing complex efficient queries, views, stored procedures and user defined functions with MS T/SQL • 3+ years experience with MS SQL Server and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) utilizing, parameters, sub-reports, drill down technologies and subscriptions • 5+ years experience testing custom applications, reports, large data sets, or dashboards • 5+ years experience producing technical documentation related to requirements, specifications, traceability matrices, designs, or testing • 5+ years experience testing custom applications, reports, large data sets, or dashboards • 5+ years experience producing technical documentation related to requirements, specifications, traceability matrices, designs, or testing • 2+ years experience developing with web applications • 1+ years experience working with Team Foundations Server (TFS) and Visual Studio .NET. • May perform backup and recovery on database management systems, configure database parameters, and prototype designs against logical data models, defines data repository requirements, data dictionaries and warehousing requirements. • May optimize database access and allocates/re-allocates database resources for optimum configuration, database performance and cost. • May support multiple services and multiple databases of medium to high complexity with multiple concurrent users, ensuring control, integrity and accessibility of data. • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Visio, Reviews documents, including requirements documents, testing plans, development plans and architectural plans in order to insure that implementation of said documents and plans will result in the system required by the user. • Demonstrated experience with large-scale implementation projects.
