Description : The Department of Natural Resources, External Services (EX) Division – Bureau of Community Financial Assistance and Environmental Management Division (EM) - Bureau of Waste and Materials Management seek to hire a .NET Web Developer III to design, develop, maintain, and enhance applications in .NET. The developer needs to provide reliable, responsive support and updates to these systems. This position requires a candidate with advanced developer skillsets and experience. The most qualified candidate will have experience in: • Advanced level experience designing and developing applications with .NET framework utilizing C#, Visual Studio 2017/2019/2022, VB.Net, ASP.Net MVC, Entity Framework, Web API, JavaScript and Bootstrap • Knowledge of Java, since some older applications that are being rewriting in .NET are currently in Java • SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) for developing reports and letter templates • Oracle database framework, including coding stored procedures, PL/SQL and SQL, TOAD queries and scripts • Experience working in Visual Studio as well as Azure DevOps • Experience with coding standards and best practices • Experience utilizing the Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and following IT Best Practices • Security Model experience including authentication and authorization in custom .NET applications • Experience following Waterfall or Iterative/Agile/Scrum Methodologies for completing projects from Initiation through Implementation and Maintenance. • Experience troubleshooting errors; Experience with testing tasks such as identifying test scenarios, test data setup, execution, and documenting test results • Experience writing technical documentation. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Collaborates with others and is a team player to ensure project success This position will be split between the Environmental Loans and Waste and Materials Management Programs.
