In addition, this position works with the TSAs/BAs in troubleshooting issues and root cause analysis on defects. The Senior UAT Analyst will be responsible to facilitate and deliver Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) Medicaid enterprise-wide related activities and products for HBE when working with the new IV&V vendor. Other activities would include project coordination and information sharing, preparing and managing required Center for Medicaid/Medicare Services (CMS) documentation, and supporting QA activities related to the IV&V enterprise-wide project requirements. This position is also responsible for developing UAT test scripts, ensuring traceability of scripts to requirements and design artifacts, executing the UAT plan, documenting UAT testing results, and providing support to Exchange users who are also executing the UAT test plan. Other Testing activities could include End to End, Performance and Smoke testing. The Senior UAT Analyst will also analysis and triage of Problems coming out of production. This position also requires close collaboration with our partners, Vendors and System Integrator. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Perform UAT in support of IT system development including the following: • Review and develop test scenarios based on business process flows. • Develop test cases based on test scenarios. • Create and deliver Daily and Weekly status reports. • Create and deliver Test Completion Reports. • Communicate and develop Test Data needs for execution. • Perform data preparation activities to support testing. • Execute test cases and report test outcomes. • Work with System Integrator (SI) vendor to analyze test issues/defects. • preparing and managing required CMS documentation. • Analyzing CMS requirements. • Participating in CMS meetings to get the updates on Fed hub changes. • Validating the EDI files and Correspondences. • Coordinating with CMS for the testing Schedule. • Tracking the status of CMS Test scripts in respect to Validations. • project coordination and information sharing with DSHS and HCA agencies. QUALIFICATIONS Required: • Bachelors Degree in information technology, computer science, or related field. • Seven years experience supporting IT system development, with five years in software testing. Note: Qualifying experience may substitute year for year for education. • Two years experience working for a Health Insurance Exchange. • Two years experience testing web-based health insurance software, Edifecs file processing software, EDI transaction and integrated eligibility systems. • Experience with JIRA and automated software testing tools. • Experience with Waterfall and Agile SDLC methodologies. • Knowledge of software testing methodology and techniques. • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices for testing software.
