Within the Real Estate Lending area of the company, this senior level position will act as a lead in providing application design guidance and consultation, utilizing a thorough understanding of applicable technology, tools and existing designs technologies for a mid scale delivery team in support of the new platform for the company. Analyzes highly complex business requirements, designs and writes technical specifications to design or redesign complex computer platforms and applications. Provides design direction to less experienced staff. Acts as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation and analysis efforts. Verifies program logic by overseeing the preparation of test data, testing and debugging of programs. Oversees overall systems testing and the migration of platforms and applications to production. Develops new documentation, departmental technical procedures and user guides. Leads projects, allocates and manages resources and manages the work of less experienced staff. Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area. Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle with various other business units. Position requires weekend and evening support for releases. Basic Qualifications: - 7+ years application design and implementation experience. - 7+ years application business analyst experience. Minimum Qualifications: -Strong design experience using Microsoft .NET and JAVA technologies with a focus on web development. Well demonstrated history of application design and solution skills using Microsoft suite of products. Must be able to interact with business operations and business analysts to understand the business requirements in order to create detailed design and technical specification artifacts. Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment on multiple projects with aggressive deadlines. Must be able to lead and guide junior analyst with both technical and process concerns. Excellent communications skills both written and verbal are required. Solid experience of working in a fast paced development environment and multiple initiatives with good multi-tasking skill. Preferred Skills: -Understanding of LPS MSP - 2+ years. -5+ years working on Mortgage systems - examples - Default Loan Modifications, Underwriting, Foreclosure. -Lombardi or BPM workflow, integration with third party software and in house systems.
