The resource should have at least 5 years experience supporting MSI production. The resource will be required to review project documentation and specs to ensure supportability and long term viability of reports, metrics, and capacity within the Microstrategy environment. This resource will be required to troubleshoot and resolve MSI incidents. This resource will also support the environment until a permanent team can be put into place Q&A: Can we get clarification on what was missing with the first round of candidates? - Experience with production support. Im not looking for a developer that made sure his stuff worked in prod after he built it. I need someone that can support what someone else builds. Not as important but an added bonus is I would also like someone who has implemented a support model for MSI version 9 before. Is the certification critical for this role? Not critical no, but I would question if the resource is truly an expert in the tool without certification. Is the team looking for more of an Administrator rather than an Analyst? I need an expert on this tool and how to support it who can also support the report and metric development going on in it.
