This position will be more tactical and strategic and have VERY limited to the amount of execution work in the Middleware environment. Description · This Middleware audit compliance consultant provides technical guidance, consultation, and support for complex non-production and production web systems environments using Weblogic, WebSphere, tomcat, Jboss, apache and sunone webserver. · Leads projects associated with web and/or e-commerce application upgrades, patching and audit compliance standards and assures existing systems are not negatively impacted. Ensures detailed documentation is created and updated for all audit projects. · Reports project status and works very closely with business partners and control manager to ensure all required audit dates are met. · As an escalation point for audit compliance, provides guidance and direction to less experienced staff in the resolution of escalated issues. · Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area. · Assigns project tasks and provides direction and guidance to less experienced staff. Minimum Qualifications: · 2+ year degree (associates or bachelors) with 5+ years administration, monitoring, upgrade, and audit experience in one or more of these applications: -WebLogic Server and Weblogic Integration 9.2 or greater. · WebSphere 6.1 or greater, · Tomcat 5.x or greater · Sunone 6.1 or greater · Apache web server 2.2.15 or greater · Comfortable working with Linux, AIX, Solaris, and Windows operating systems. · Should know SSL fundamentals · Strong communications skills, both in writing and speaking. · Work independently and also as a team member. · Mentor junior team members in day to day activity.
