You will be supporting critical Unix based applications. You will work in a collaborative, creative, and fast-paced environment where your contributions to the team are recognized and rewarded. You will have opportunities to work with cutting edge container technology. • Support will involve production support, Middleware Support, software upgrades, application installations, SSL Certificates install, NDM Secure+ setup etc. • You will also be part of the on-call/pager support. • You will provide technical guidance and consultation for client server environments. • Leads projects associated with web and application installations, upgrades, tech Refresh and deployments including designing and testing multiple tier servers to meet growth or user requirements and assures existing systems are not negatively impacted. • Reports project status. • Develops new documentation and participates in the development of departmental technical procedures. • Consults with web developers, management and recommends web configurations. • Analyzes performance statistics and determines hardware and communication tools needed to support projected transaction volumes, response time and system availability targets. • As an escalation point for application support and troubleshooting, provides guidance and direction to less experienced staff in the resolution of escalated issues and/or complex web related problems. • Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area and oversees updating and testing of the business continuation plan. Required Qualifications: • 5+ years of web systems environments experience • 5+ years of Middleware Administration experience • 3+ years of Tomcat Administration experience • 3+ MQ Series Messaging experience • 3+ years of Apache experience • 3+ years of Unix Shell scripting experience Desired Qualifications: • Web application installations, upgrades, and deployment experience • Experience with servers or systems that support/host web applications • Knowledge and understanding of Oracle • WebSphere experience • Advanced problem solving and technical troubleshooting capabilities • Knowledge and understanding of Autosys   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
