Notes : contract to hire Location: Boston, MA Duration: 6 + month rolling contract Position Description: Our Client is looking for a Command Center Analyst that has experience working in a 24x7 Data Center (NOC) environment. The candidate will monitor environment health and the facilitation of high severity incidents to restore the state of service availability and continuity. This function coordinates the processes and activities that focus on restoring service after an incident occurs. Documents all problems (hardware, application, facility, etc.) and takes corrective action as required. Communicates in a timely and detailed manner, the status of all activities which may impact user access or systems availability. Coordinates the efforts of all functions to complete scheduled jobs in a timely manner. Interfaces with other departments as required Shift: Candidate needs to work either 3, 13 hour days; 5, 8 hours days; or 4, 10 hour days. The facility opens from 6am until 7pm so they will be within this window of time. There is flexibility with the shift requests but need to be flexible. Required Skills: 1. Experience with System Monitoring enterprise level 2. Monitoring Tools (Dynatrace, HPOV, HPPM) 3. Experience with reporting and using tools such as Dynatrace to pull reports for customer 4. Ticketing System experience (Service Now) Desired Skills (not required but candidate will have exposure to these skills in this role): 1. Experience producing heat maps 2.
