RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Under limited supervision, conducts business process analysis, needs assessments, and preliminary cost/benefits analyses to align information technology solutions with business initiatives. 2. Develops business specifications for technical personnel. Conducts interviews and performs analysis in order to create business case for projects. 3. Conducts analysis of business goals, objectives, and the needs of the business environment. 4. Conduct preliminary investigation for project requests. Reviews requirements, specifications, test, support and training plans to ensure they are in line with business objectives 5. Utilize systems and data to resolve business issues in the most effective manner. 6. Makes recommendations to improve business processes. Conduct root cause analysis in order to recommend product enhancements or other appropriate actions to improve productivity for the business units. 7. May provide financial or operational business related analysis and research to support business goals. 8. Oversee large, complex, more important projects or more than one project, including planning, assigning, monitoring and reviewing progress and accuracy of work; evaluating results, etc. 9. Performs other duties as required. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelors Degree in business, finance, computer science and/or related field required. Equivalent work experience may be substituted. Job Related Experience: Three to Five years work-related experience with lending systems (Mortgage, Consumer, Commercial or Equity). Must be able to make decisions based on precedent and solve arising problems using sound judgment and experience. Functional Area Skills/Knowledge: 1. Must have a thorough understanding of the organization, work environment and process. 2. Must have working knowledge of developing business specifications with strong technical skills required to complete assignments 3. May be required to train others in area of technical expertise. 4.
