Technical VMware Requirements: design, install, configure and maintain a VMware environment including vCenter, ESX(i) servers, VUM (VMware update Manager), Vmotion, DRS / SDRS, VDS, VMware WebClient, online patching, vRealize operations and monitoring (Formerly vCenter Operations Management Suite) environment. Be able to design, deploy and maintain a VMware environment using Block Storage, iSCSI and or NFS without a single point of failure and effectively communicate requirements to the storage team Can performP2V migrations with PlateSpin or VMware Converter and work with the customer and other IT Teams to minimize downtime Able to create custom dashboards in VCOPS Understand how to troubleshoot all issues in a VMware environment including: Hardware, Software, Network, Storage and Guest OS issues from Level 1 to Level 3 Can use PowerCLI (PowerShell for VMware) to automate and simply daily or repetitive tasks. Preferred is Certification in VMware Infrastructure (VCP or higher) Technical Citrix Requirements: design, install, configure and maintain RESPONSIBILTIES: As a key member of our global Infrastructure team, provides complex technical project leadership, support and maintenance of global Wintel, VMware and Citrix environments. Provide builds / upgrades, administration, configuration, maintenance, backing up / recovering data, and optimization improvements Develop processes, procedures and cost-effective technical solutions to support and improve systems Install and support Wintel, VMware and Citrix from ground up for both physical + virtual servers preparing these servers for application or DB deployment Maintains logs / documentation of work activities, application errors/failures, system modifications, maintenance activities, installations, computer operations, and document repair status Interface with IT customers, vendors and colleagues to define and fulfill business requirements and customer needs while assisting in the development of specifications, business case justifications, and technical policies / standards Establish service-level metrics used to define and measure technology services   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
