THIS ENGINEER WILL WORK CLOSELY AND WILL BE INVOLVED WITH BOTH THE UI TIERS WHICH ARE MS .NET APPLICATIONS (VB.NET, C#.NET) AND THE DATABASE TIERS IN BOTH SQL AND ORACLE. SCDMV IS ACTIVELY MIGRATING SOME BUSINESS FUNCTIONS FROM COBOL TO C# AND ORALCLE PL_SQL. THIS ENGINEER WILL BE HEAVILY INVOLVED AND POSSIBLY LEADING THIS EFFORT. PRODUCTION TROUBLE SHOOTING SUPPORT WILL BE EXPECTED SO SOME LEVEL OF PRODUCTION SUPPORT EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED. THIS CONTRACTOR WILL BE EXPECTED TO WORK WITH MINIMAL SUPERVISION, WILL BE IN DIRECT CONTACT WITH BUSINESS AREA SPECIALISTS, DEVELOP TECHNICAL APPROACHES AND AND DESIGNS, CODE, TEST, AND SUPPORT THESE FUNCTIONS.
