Job Description Developer: C++, C#, .NET FRAMEWORK, SQL Plus Visual Studio 2005

*********(Part Time Position)*** 20 hr/week*********

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

SCDOT needs a system software programmer to maintain the Automated Routing and Permitting application which the agency assumed from Bentley. The client module is written in Visual C++ and the extranet module is written in Java. It interfaces with an Oracle database with reports generating in Crystal. Prior knowledge of the application is required.

The candidate must be knowledgeable of Java 1.4, JBuilder, C#, Visual Studio 2005, .NET framework, SQL Reporting Services, SQL Plus, Oracle Enterprise Manager, and "Classic" ASP.

We anticipate no more than 20 hours of work per week. While the initial work may be completed off-site, the consultant may be need to come onsite at the DOT headquarters in Columbia, SC to mentor a DOT system programmer.
