Job Description : CONTRACT TO HIRE, must be able to convert to perm employment Description: This role will be responsible for Storage and Backups support within Ameriprise environments. The role will work closely with architecture, security and engineering roles to support the infrastructure of the application and infrastructure components. This role is critical to support the ope rationalization of Storage and Backup services for all work streams. Key responsibilities include operations support for key platforms such as CommVault, NetApp, EMC - ECS, S3 and EBS and will include monitoring day to day operations of Commvault based backups and operations of Storage devices. Requirements: Deep knowledge and working experience operating or implementing storage and backup solutions such as CommVault, NetApp, EMC Elastic Cloud Storage, AWS-S3, EBS etc. Solid understanding of operational recovery and disaster recovery techniques and strategies. Working knowledge with Amazon Web Services (AWS) capabilities such as IAM, EC2, EBS, EFS, S3, Route 53, VPCs, CloudWatch, etc. (AWS Certifications a Plus) Solid understanding of storage communication protocols. Working knowlegde with one or more of the other following technologies: Enterprise Virtualization: (vCenter, vSphere, vSAN, NSX)o Operating Systems: Windows 2012/2016 and Linux (Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.x/7.x) Understanding of networking concepts, technologies and design/integration points. Strong working knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, testing techniques and approaches. Must be detail oriented, organized and have the ability to multi-task.
