Responsibilities: - Assist in defining the set of required application security controls for clients eCommerce properties. - Develop application security controls and control frameworks for eCommerce properties using their native technology sets. - Lead the implementation of application security controls by eCommerce product teams. - Identify application security vulnerabilities in eCommerce properties. - Define the set of required application security controls for Staples eCommerce properties. - Guide the remediation of application security vulnerabilities and implementation of security controls by eCommerce product teams. - Provide training and mentoring to eCommerce product teams on the eCommerce threat landscape, application security controls, and secure coding practices. - Consult with Product Managers in the definition of secure application processes. - Consult on the practices of vulnerability scanning and penetration testing. - Specify application security testing requirements to be included within the CICD/SDLC testing frameworks. - Coordinate with security operations and incident response as required. Required Skills/Experience: - 8+ years developing eCommerce web/mobile applications using common web technologies. - Familiarity with application security concerns and secure coding practices. - Familiarity with PCI, SOX, Privacy and other compliance concerns. - Experience working with Agile development methodologies. - Ability to execute analytical problem decomposition and solution design. - Strong written and oral skills. - Ability to influence and educate application development and product management personnel. Preferred Skills/Experience: - Industry training in web application defense, enterprise defense, and/or penetration testing. - Industry certification in the above a plus. - Demonstrated experience in assessing solution risk via design and code review. - Experience in deploying web application components in public cloud environments. - Familiarity with cloud-based micro services architectures.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
