Builds are done several days a week during off business hours Design, develop, and support database load processes Responsible for working with development team in a collaborative environment on several databases and XML structures. Tune and resolve database performance problems including lock contention and SQL performance issues Develop Oracle and Unix scripts for re-organization of database objects, index rebuilds, partition maintenance Effectively manage and monitor all aspects of Oracle environments (development, test, and production) Assist developers in creation of SQL/PLSQL scripts and any required database stored procedures, functions and automated jobs Manage / support data migration activities Assist with the planning and execution of database software upgrades and patching Skills and Qualifications Computer Science or Business degree or equivalent working experience 7-10 years experience in the Information Technology field with a minimum of 5 years experience specifically supporting Oracle Databases. Able to store, retrieve, generate, and manipulate XML data in Oracle Database 11g. Able to query XMLType data by using SQL/XML standard functions and XQuery. Able to generate and manipulate XML data. Able to access and manipulate repository resources using protocols such as SQL, and PL/SQL. Able to manage changes in an XML schema after registering it with Oracle XML DB. Able to import and export XML data. Experience with the Oracle SQL Developer tool. Knowledgeable of Datapump utility Oracle PL/SQL experience is a plus Oracle Real Application Cluster experience Experience with Oracle 11g/12c Demonstrated Unix/ Linux scripting experience Demonstrated proficiency of SQL*Plus and SQL*Loader Demonstrated experience with Oracle tuning tools, such as AWR and Oracle Enterprise Manager Excellent communication skills and works well with diverse teams or independently Experience with the full project lifecycle from conception to implementation & support Self-starter with excellent organization, planning, documentation and time management skills Oracle certification preferred   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
