They will be responsible for developing report specifications, business intelligence report design, development, testing, maintenance, metadata, and implementation of reporting initiatives. Understand user requirements, and implement solutions that ensure requirements can be achieved through high quality deliverables. Seek continuous improvement in performance & tuning and ensure security of data. Perform analysis and testing of reports. Proven methodology experience for complex systems integration projects and demonstrated ability to achieve deliverables on time and on budget. Works with other IT technical teams and Business users to understand requirements, and recommend & implement solutions. Works with moderate supervision with some latitude for independent judgment performing a variety of complex tasks. Requires advanced skill sets and developing proficiency within discipline. Typically requires 7-9 years experience or equivalent education. Ideal candidate will have experience designing BI solutions, and development experience in Business Objects. DW & BI Knowledge areas: 1. Data warehouse/data marts using Kimball & Inmon methodologies 2. SAP Business Objects universe and report design/development 4. XCelsius Dashboard design and development 5. Crystal reports 6. Oracle, DB2 and SQL Server 7. Dimensional Data Modeling - Star Schemas 8. Slowly Changing Dimensions 9. Infoburst 10. Requirements gathering 11. Project development life cycle process (i.e., planning, analysis, design, coding, testing, implementation, support 12. Excellent written and oral communications 13.
