Required Skills and Experience: You ensure that client needs are satisfied through the formulation, development, implementation and delivery of application solutions in response to client requ irements, expressed in approved service requests. You are responsible for the overall project plan, budget, structure, schedule and staffing requirements for th e delivery organization. You ensure that the project meets its deliverables in an agreed schedule, according to the scope, within stipulated budget, and to qual ity standards. Qualification: Bachelors Degree Certification: Should have EM Level 1. Should be proficient in Negotiating, Vendor Management, Financial Reporting, Risk Management and Problem Diagnosis & Solution. Should have progressing skills in Financial Analysis, Change Management and Quality Management. "5-7 years experience in an IT project manager position. Scope for Request: Project Manager for DB2 Upgrade Project. Current DB2 is out of support. This is a heavy infrastructure project and requires a solid P M with infrastructure background Responsibilities : Ensures project results meet requirements regarding quality, reliability, schedule and cost. Monitors performance and recommends schedule changes, cost adjustme nts. Coordinates cross-functional teams through meetings and progress measurement activity which bring distinct, specific projects to completion both on time and wit hin budget. Establishes relationship with project sponsor, project and affected departments to coordinate efforts across multiple business units and ensure continuous effic ient management of projects; gathers input and feedback. Ensures that specific project and program objectives are defined for areas of responsibility and that necessary preliminary activities are completed to allow fo r effectiveness and focus during later stages of completion. Ensures that all projects and programs assigned are completed in accordance with predetermined requirements, with specific attention to product/process specific ations, project/program costs, resource utilization, and timeliness for completion. Ensures that all phases of project, program and/or process development are documented and that information required in other functional areas is reported, disse minated, or transferred, as appropriate. Ensures that the utilization of all material and financial resources is carried out in an effective manner. Ensures that newly created processes, designs, and/or methodologies are incorporated into products/services, and/or disseminated to other areas as needed.
