What software tools/skills are needed to perform these daily responsibilities? Java, Microservices, Kafka, Cloud/Openshift, CI/CD (Jenkins), Docker What skills/attributes are a must have? * Strong experience with java micro-services * Experience hosting micro services on cloud environment o specifically, experience in OpenShift o experience with Docker container management. * Strong CI/CD experience, including building and deploying and maintaining cloud micro services o Jenkins o Docker o XL Deploy o General CI/CD pipeline experience * Knowledge of the existing data externalization team, infrastructure and processes is definitely a plus. We are definitely planning on utilizing their Kaas (Kafka as a service) offering, and are currently in the process of completing a POC to integrate with their test Kaas environment. -Some Kafka experience What skills/attributes are nice to have? Strong Kafka experience - someone who can help drive and set architectural direction, designing a new system using kafka from the ground up and mentoring current team members Where is the work to be performed?
