JS frameworks and ensuring a smooth integration of user-facing elements with server-side elements. The Node. JS Developer will be responsible for understanding fundamental design principles behind the creation of a scalable product, and will work with a team in developing, testing, optimizing, and maintaining new database configurations, as well as performing version upgrades. This position must be comfortable working and problem-solving independently. Additionally, this position will assist teammates as needed, acting as a point of escalation and resolution for challenges related to the Node. JS portions of the project. RESPONSIBILITIES • Designing and developing enhancements on new and existing applications using Node.JS • Writing re-useable, testable, and efficient code • Managing interchange of data between servers and users • Integrating user-facing elements with server-side logic • Ensuring high performance and responsiveness of the product • Implementing security and data protection protocols • Collaborating with team members to create, publish, and maintain product • Troubleshooting and ensuring a timely resolution of issues, including debugging as needed • Advising team members and providing guidance as needed • Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS • Minimum: 2 years of experience building and running focused Node. JS • 4+ years preferred • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or other technical field preferred • Masters Degree in a technical field a plus • Strong working knowledge of Java Script, XML, HTML, and various No-SQL databases, especially MongoDB. • Proficiency in multiple programming languages and tools, including working knowledge of front-end technologies • History working directly with development teams or leading teams • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies a plus • Must be a proactive problem-solver and demonstrate initiative • Ability to independently analyze and debug as needed • Strong logical reasoning skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
