Day to Day job Duties: (what this person will do on a daily/weekly basis) - - Analyze functional requirements for oData Services (for all CRUD actions) required for the Mobility (based on - SAP Cloud Platform Mobility Services or SAP Mobile Platform or Syclo) transactions. - Design of the oData services. - Development using custom backend RFCs (for Master Data such as Locations, Routes, Customers, Products, etc.) in SAP ECC and SAP CRM systems. - Develop oData Services from custom backend CDS views - Develop the technical design documents and the technical specifications for the oData Services realized in the project. - Implement techniques such as deep nested entity updates, expand entity & entity set, batching multiple requests, cache maintenance, etc. - Troubleshoot poor performance in oData Services using Debugger & Performance Trace. - Experience in designing and developing ABAP objects such as Function Modules, Subroutine pools, Reports/Programs, DDIC objects (such as Structures, Tables, Indexes, Search Helps, etc.), etc. are considered a huge bonus. - Ability to troubleshoot ABAP objects such as Function Modules, Reports/Programs with a view to find root causes for poor performance is useful. Basic Qualifications: (what are the skills required to this job with minimum years of experience on each) SAP ABAP: 5+ years Knowledge of SAP ECC MM (Pricing) module. Functional and Technical knowledge of SAP CRM Service Order Management module. Expert in ABAP/4 Object Oriented Development Expert in developing OData services in SAP NetWeaver Gateway. Expert in developing Remote Function Modules used in OData Service call Strong knowledge of SAP Gateway client to test the OData service Strong knowledge of SAP Gateway OData errors trouble shooting.
