Collaborate with the stakeholders and build solutions that support their reporting, analytics, data exploration and data science needs. Participate in process improvement initiatives and in setting the best practice standards around Data Architecture, Metadata, Data Governance and Master Data Management. Architect data driven solutions that focus on fulfilling stakeholders needs: Translation of business needs into feasible and acceptable data-centric semantic layer designs Document and present relationships between business entities using Kimball, Inmon and other modern frameworks Participate in discussions to prioritize and balance technical and business needs of the conceptual and logical data Warehouse Architect logical data models, transforming the logical data models to physical models, then implementing/deploying the physical models in the respective systems: Architect and document 3NF integration layer (normalized) of the data warehouse Architect and document dimensional presentation layer (de-normalized) of the data warehouse Architect and document multi-dimensional cube structures and tabular structures Enhance and optimize existing models to ensure compliancy with best practices around master data management and a 3 layer architecture across technology platforms Design, develop, document and articulate architecture of the solutions and the enterprise data warehouse Evaluate reusability of current solutions for additional analysis, while maintaining integrity and confidentiality of information in accordance with a minimum viable product Provide guidance in the creation and refinement of Agile technical stories for data architecture and development. Load data models into systems and maintain / update the data models Participate in discussions to document database standards and procedures for the definition of reference architecture Train and provide knowledge transfers to developers on the team Required Deliverables: A complete solution-level and systems-level diagrams showing both the Public Safety and Justice (PSJ) design and non-PSJ design including all security considerations. A set of complete architectural blueprints of the PSJ and non-PSJ dimensional model showing dimension and fact tables and granularity down to the field-level. This model needs to apply highly scalable design so that nth number of data sources can be added into the design at any later stages with minor changes to the design or insignificant effects. A set of full documentation using the Kimball templates showing all the data mappings (for ETL) from the current source systems and future source systems (Tyler Odyssey Courts, Tri-Bridge Custody, SSA, ORS-RTS, Office of Supportive Housing) to the future data warehouse(s). A completed set of documentation detailing migration strategies from the current data warehouse to the future state. A completed physical model of the logical architectural designs in the previous list; all designs previously described deployed into the systems of a DEVELOPMENT environment. Outcomes of Deliverables: The deliverables expected from this contract are prerequisites for the implementation of a new Business Intelligence Solution and a planned migration route from the current to the new Business Intelligence Solution.
