OS Infrastructure Security Management Tools Tools & Methods Patches Virtualization A   Requirement id 113977 Job title Analyst Job location in Columbus, OH Skills required OS, Infrastructure, Systems Analyst, Security Management Tools Tools & Method Open Date 11-Feb-2021 Close Date Job type Contract Duration 10 Months Compensation DOE Status requirement --- Job interview type ---    Email Recruiter: coolsoft Job Description Analyst: OS, Infrastructure, Systems Analyst, Security Management Tools Tools & Method On-site/Remote: Remote Job industry: Banking and Finance interview: Phone or video call Description: Responsibilities SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR We have the need for two (2) consultants to assist with **Knowledge of the creation and administration of Group Policies and Active Directory Domain Services and server migration in our Infrastructure group. ** This is a 8-10 month position Responsibilities include: Work with server/application owners to determine requirements for migration Utilizing ServiceNow, following standardized change management processes Analyze and resolve issues related to the OS, network, infrastructure, and tools Performing successful root cause analysis for complex problem resolution Performing routine server O/S patching, upgrades, vulnerability/security management and file system maintenance, most of which will occur after-hours and on weekends to avoid customer outages Maintain system documentation Successfully installing server systems and related hardware Successfully interfacing with hardware service controllers and configuring for lights out management Successfully installing and configuring operating systems, software applications and programs Ability to act independently based on program requirements Provide input to architected solutions based on customer requirements and coordination with vendors on hardware and software implementation, problems, patches, and upgrades. Basic Qualifications: Experience with Windows Server operating systems (ie., Windows Server 2008/2012/2016) Knowledge of Virtualization (ie., VMware, vSphere, vCenter) Experience managing and troubleshooting hardware and software Experience with vulnerability remediation management tools and methodologies (i.e., Bladelogic, WSUS, Shavlik, etc.) Experience with anti-virus products (Symantec EPP) Desired Skills: Knowledge of the creation and administration of Group Policies and Active Directory Domain Services. Management, Creation and administration of Active Directory domains (domain controller demotion/promotion with powershell and GUI) Experience with Active Directory and server migration, interfacing with application owners to determine requirements and migration scenarios (direct domain change, new server build/application install/data migration or some combination) Bladelogic/Truesight Server Automation (BSA/TSA) experience. Ability to create BLPackages, Patch Scans, Patch Catalogs, Deployment/Remediation Jobs, VGP – Virtual Guest Packages and troubleshoot issues with the application. IT Related Certifications (i.e., MCSE, VMWare, Security+, etc.) Professional certifications (Microsoft, Cisco, UNIX or Linux) Proven ability to create documentation and reports using MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint Demonstrated strong verbal & written communication and organization skills Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic IT environment Knowledge of Agile Framework Principles Demonstrated ability working in a teaming/collaborative environment Ability to develop and maintain Standard Operating Instructions (SOI) Knowledge of Scripting and Automation (i.e., PowerShell, BASH, Ansible, Shell Scripting, etc.) Knowledge of Cloud Principles (i.e., Azure, OpenShift, OpenStack, etc.) Knowledge of Operating Systems life cycle management and configuration management (i.e., Installation/Upgrades, System Imaging, Account Management, Group Policy Objects (GPO), Domain Services, Hardware Modernization, Performance Monitoring, etc.) Knowledge of Network Protocols (i.e., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LDAP, etc.) Demonstrated ability to w   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
