Start Date : 05/02/2022 End Date : 06/30/2022 Submission Deadline : 04/01/2022 Client Info: GDOT - IT App Note: * Agency Interview Type: Either Web Cam or In Person Description: The Georgia Department of Transportation is seeking an Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE/OAS) Developer with solid experience and knowledge in implementing enterprise level reporting solutions using OBIEE/OAS (Oracle Analytics Server – In-Premise). Candidate must be able to develop RPDs, reports (Answer, BI Publisher & Data Visualization, and dashboards. Candidate must demonstrate ability to be productive and effective in report conversion. Candidate must be capable and committed to delivering results on-time/on-schedule. The Enterprise Reporting & Analytics Team is composed of 5 report developers, 1 architect and a Team leader. Current reports utilize the latest versions of enterprise data warehouse (Oracle Exadata), Oracle databases and SQL Server. The team develops enterprise level reports for the GDOT users (internal & External) within IT applications department. Reports serve all facets of the transportation enterprise from financials, programs/projects, human resources, to federally required reporting. The team coordinates with business users, Windows & Unix Server, network, and database/data warehouse teams for the report development. The position end date is set for the end of the Georgia DOT fiscal year. Georgia DOT may exercise the option to renew contracts in one-year increments. Several successful developers have continued working for several years with contract extensions. However, Georgia DOT is under no obligation to extend contracts and may terminate employment at any time. Candidate must be a US Citizen and/or Green Card or EAD. At present, consultant may have the option to telework up to 4 business days, with one business day required in the office. When teleworking, consultant must have suitable internet connection and environment to comply with GDOT telework policies. Responsibilities: • Expertise in creating complex reports (Answer, BI Publisher, and Data Visualization) and Dashboards in OBIEE/OAS environment. • Configures, model and optimize RPD based on Data Warehouse (OLAP) and/or databases (OLTP) sources. • Expertise in creating Data Flow and data sets in Visual analyzer /Oracle Data Visualization Tool • Experience in creating geospatial reports in OBIEE/OAS environments using Answer and Data Visualization Tool • Develop Data model (SQL Query & Subject Area) and reports in BI Publisher using RTF template and/or Online Editor • Hands-on expertise in OBIEE/OAS administration, deployment, system maintenance, patching and upgrades • Experience in working with Oracle support • Hand-on experience in Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to OBIEE/OAS • Perform unit, system, and integration testing • Work with business users to gather reporting/analytics requirements Required Skills: • 8+ years of IT development experience in Oracle BI environment • 5+ years of experience as an Oracle BI developer using OBIEE/OAS with deep expertise in RPD design/development, Reports (Answer, BI Publisher & OAS Data Visualization) and Dashboards • Experience in Oracle BI (OBIEE/OAS) security and server administration • 5+ years of strong working knowledge of leading RDBMS e.g., MS SQL Server 2016/2019, Oracle 12c/19c and Oracle Exadata X7-2 • 5+ years of experience in writing PL/SQL, SQL*Plus, etc. • 5+ years of experience with star-schema, snowflake, FACT, and dimensional data modeling • Demonstrated experience in designing, building, implementing, and deploying enterprise level reports, analytics, dashboards, RPD an   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
