Job Description Architect: Informatica, Oracle., Data Warehouse, SQL Relational Database Data Models

Description:

The Client is seeking a qualified staff augmentation resource(s) to provide senior level Informatica/ETL and SQL design and development services to support several projects and on-going system operations
Work with the Client resource and project managers to define detailed project and operational tasks, target dates and dependencies and report progress on a weekly basis.
Attend project team meetings.
Meet with business users, program subject matter experts and other technical team members to understand and clarify business requirements.
Use Client s Informatica standards, existing development environment, source control platform and current technology stack which includes: Informatica 8.6/9.6 and Oracle 11g
Design and build Informatica mappings.
Design and build complex SQL scripts.
Work closely with end users and developers to identify data sources (as input to the Informatica mappings).
Design and develop new Oracle tables to move data from current Oracle schema into appropriate data warehouse schema tables.
Update documentation on Informatica mappings to ensure documentation matches the applications.
Work with users, program subject matter experts and other technical team members to identify and correct all defects.
Deliver knowledge transfer sessions with Client s technical staff to ensure that Client staff can maintain the Informatica programs once the engagement is over.
Vendor shall provide a senior level Informatica and SQL developer that has experience working with customers to determine and document requirements and technical specifications.
Vendor shall not change such personnel unless CDE reasonably requests such a change; in the event of a termination (voluntary or involuntary), resignation, grave personal circumstance, illness or disability or death involving the vendor personnel; or required by law.
The vendor resource is expected to work full time (40 hours/week) on this assignment in consecutive weeks until the engagement is complete or until the maximum funding limit is reached.
The vendor resource must be available to work full time onsite at 201 E. Colfax, Denver, CO 80203.
The vendor resource must provide their own laptop. Laptops will be inspected by CDEs security staff prior to connection to CDEs network for potential security risks (unpatched software, malware, etc.).
The vendor resource must have experience with similar Information Technology projects.


Required Skills:



* 10 years of experience with Informatica.
* 10 years of experience with Oracle and extracting data from an Oracle database.
* 5 years of experience working with complex data warehouse design and architecture.
* 10 year experience with structured query language (SQL) and can work with complex queries.
* 10 years of demonstrated experience with relational databases.
* 10 years of demonstrated experience with data warehouse databases.
* Demonstrated experience in developing enterprise data models
* Demonstrated experience in data warehouse design.
* Demonstrated experience interacting with end users.


Desired Skills:


* General knowledge Colorados K – 12 education system
* Able to translate complex education data into requirements.
* Familiar with data analysis services, data flow diagramming and data modeling.
* Local candidates preferred
