Job Description Developer: Oracle 10g, ETL, Informatica, Data Analyst

TOP THREE SKILL SETS:

1. Oracle 10G

2. ETL/informatica- 7

3. Data analyst

Day to Day: Development, gathering requirements, unit testing, data discovery, data analysis, interact with business, be proactive and find answers.

This person needs to be willing to seek our requirements. This is an AGILE enviorment and this person needs to be able to think outside the box, ask the right questions, and be a self starter. This person will not be handed BRD or functional specs, they will need to work with BAs to get this. So since this is such a fluid enviroment they need to be someone who can pick things up quickly and work with the other members of the team. They will be working with SME and BAs to work on the EXPENSE project for Retirement.

They will be working on a sales and reporting tool in the DW for all retirement products cross the bank. They will actually be creating an expense tool to compare where they are spending money and eventually have to compare to the revenue. This project will last at least through the year. We need someone very strong who can work independtley.

Must Haves: 1. 2-3 years of Informatica Development (5-7+ years would be highly desirable- but they will look at 2-3 yrs too) 2. Any version of informatica is fine (they currently use v7.1 and are planning to migrate to v8.6) 3. Oracle Database- experience creating and building tables and various DB design and modeling... 4. Good Communication: verbal and written (will be interacting with business) 5. Polished/Professional and Proactive (would like someone who is solutions oriented and can dig and find answers to issues with out hand holding)

Pluses: 1. Exp interfacing with DB2 and/or Teradata 2. Linux O/S - exp with simple shell scripting and basic unix commands 3. Architect skills- any Oracle Database Design or Informatica Architecture 4. Agile Methodology 5. Financial Services
