Company & Group Details of Oracle DBA: The Senior Oracle DBA will provide strategic and technical leadership for the organizations Oracle Unified Directory (OUD) and Oracle Identity Management (OIM), Incorporate vendor recommendations to create best practice documentation and standard operating procedures around OUD/OID used to improve security of EPRN DB tier across 2300 endpoints. Conduct performance monitoring and tuning and database configuration management for both of these solutions. Produce entity relationship and data flow diagrams, database normalization schemas, logical to physical database maps, and data table parameters. Collaborate with integrated applications teams. Additional Requirements of Oracle DBA: Expert in OUD/OIM implementation. Large scalable deployment of OUD/OIM expertise. Oracle performance tuning and optimization Strong documentation on DB schemas. Additional Notes: Needs a strong Oracle DBA that has worked around OIM/OUD implementations. - If they have scaled out a deployment of OIM/OUD then that would be the perfect candidate as they understand what impact this will have on Kroger. - Needs to come from an enterprise sized environment to teach Kroger how to tweak Oracle to make this work for the final 90% of the stores. - Not doing your normal day to day DBA tasks so make sure candidate know that as they have a Managed Service contract to run those day to day DBA tasks. - This role is just for the OIM/OUD implementation.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
