Third Party vendor solution (Quantum Q) requires 24/7 monitoring and issue resolution during batch execution. 24/7 Batch Monitoring Support: - required during Catch-up processing in New Prod - would also be responsible for evening batch monitoring in New QA, New Stress, & Old Stress environments - 3 resources cover 12.5 hr shifts Sunday thru Saturday - Total of 175 hrs WK (24*7 = 168 hrs + 7 hrs (overlap) = 175 hrs) - Typically shifts start/end at 5PM/5AM (1st priority) or 7PM/7AM Required Experience Prepping / Submitting / Monitoring / resubmitting jobs in mainframe using a scheduling tool Checking logs / files on Unix. Running queries Oracle DB (using PL/Sql Developer). Documenting / tracking progress of Catchup runs in Excel spreadsheets Communication status/progress of Catchup runs (via email) Mainframe - JCL, ESP, and navigation skills Oracle DB queries ( using PL/Sql Developer) Unix/Linux - navigation skills Preferred Preparing ESP / One Time Request forms via Lotus Notes forms.
