Oracle MS SQL Server Architect (Jobs in Boston, MA)   Requirement id 3186 Job title Architect Job location in Boston, MA Skills required JasperSoft 4, Oracle, MS SQL Server, Open Date 11-Mar-2011 Close Date Job type Contract Duration 4 Months Compensation DOE Status requirement --- Job interview type Phone Screen and Face to Face interview    Email Recruiter: coolsoft Job Description Architect: JasperSoft 4, Oracle, MS SQL Server, [NOTE(2):A.Will accept (2) resumes for each position B.Close Date:03/18/2011 04:00PM] Qualification: • Extensive experience administering JasperSoft 4 • Demonstrated experience configuring JasperReport Server to support distributed reporting and Management Dashboards • Demonstrated experience configuring JasperSoft OLAP and JasperSoft ETL to support data analytics and cross domain reconciliation • Demonstrated experience developing reports with JasperSoft iReport and JasperReport • Demonstrated experience using monitoring tools to troubleshoot performance issues in JasperReport Server • Strong interpersonal and communications skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences at various levels within the organization Additional Preferred Responsibilities and Skills: • Java programming language experience with the ability to write custom methods and data preparation modules • Strong knowledge of databases including Oracle and MS SQL Server, including excellent SQL skills, stored procedures, backup/restore, import/export, and modification of database settings; strong knowledge of Windows operating system • Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills to resolve highly complex issues • Good leadership skills to mentor, oversee, and lead team members • Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and software quality methodologies • Knowledge of approaches, tools and techniques for promoting creative, original thinking and applying it to existing and emerging situations • Ability to gather, clarify and apply information transmitted verbally • Effective use of a broad range of factors, assumptions, frameworks and perspectives when solving problems and making decisions in a disciplined and systematic fashion • Ability to work effectively, both independently and as part of a team • Must be able to express findings and recommendations clearly, to differing levels of management, both verbally and in writing. • Must be familiar with IT business practices and be able to interface and integrate with ITD functional areas. • Ability to establish and maintain harmonious working relationships. • Ability to perform related duties, as required.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
