They also create custom applications when Oracle modules are unavailable. Our atmosphere is fast-paced, continuously implementing solutions to improve the efficiency of business processes. Prepare and document technical designs · Implement business processes that leverage Oracles integrated functionality · Conduct code reviews and checkpoint meetings as needed · Design, develop, configure and test for change requests · Determine and execute corrective actions needed during development · Recommend development practices, methods, tools and templates · Collaborate with business analysts to investigate and recommend technical solutions · Document installation instructions for approved production changes Minimum Qualifications: · B.S. or B.A. in Information Systems or other relevant discipline · Minimum of 3-5 years of Development experience · At least 2 year in Oracle RDBMS · Knowledgeable in PL/SQL scripting is a must · Skills using Oracle Database functions and features required · Understanding software development methodology and lifecycle · Good analytical and problem solving skills · Ability to quickly understand both functional and technical concepts · Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Preferred Qualifications: · Oracle Forms and Reports development · PL/SQL packages and coding structures experience · Oracle ADF, XML and ApEx development a plus Notes from hiring manager: Running 11.5.10 Oracle EBS - single global instance 2500 Employees, everyone uses self service apps. iexpense, OTL, isupport, etc. Use all Oracle Finance modules, Projects, Project Accounting, Self Service Apps ( Time and Labor, Iprocure) Order Management. Running Salesforce.com & Informatica on-demand Upgrading from 11.5.10 to 12.1.3 and Database 11g 100 +/- custom objects, forms changes and about 1000 extensions reports and alerts ( important to discuss with candidate and this is what the developer will be working on !!! Oracle Reports, workflows, building and fixing PL/SQL packages, data modeling across different modules. Experience required in these modules: Projects, Finance, Self Service apps ( Time and Labor, i-procure, etc.) ( important to discuss with candidate) Should be familiar with data models /data tables within these apps.
