Strong experience in developing inbound and outbound custom interfaces from/to other third party applications Ability to interact with closely with business analysts, DBAs, testers, operations, and technical infrastructure team members as required on design, problem resolution, and release process Thorough knowledge of software development, upgrades, customization, and superior technical skills Experience in the development, testing, deployment and support of interfaces and extensions Extensive experience with Oracle Reports, Forms, Discoverer, JAVA, PL/SQL, SQL, XML, workflows is a must. Advanced knowledge of CUSTOM.pll Working knowledge of Unix shell scripting Strong analytical and problem solving skills Bachelor Degree in IT or MIS, or equivalent experience required. 5+ years of Oracle Financials Excellent communication skills, verbal, written and presentation Good communication skills to work effectively with team members, support personnel, and clients Knowledge of standard Microsoft software applications, i.e. Word, Excel, Microsoft Project. Desired: Skills Knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Visio desired Knowledge of Oracle Federal Financials, AFPS, Grants, Cash Management (CM), Project Accounting (PA), Fixed Assets (FA), iProcurement, OCI is a plus Experience or knowledge Governance Risk and Access Control (GRC tool) is a plus. Knowledge of User Provisioning Automation (UPA) is a plus Experience with Discoverer Reports Knowledge of federal financial management and processes, including fund accounting, external reporting Coordinate the resolution of highly complex technical problems and tasks. Perform application development, problem analysis, and debugging. Works with various teams, resolve issues and validate COTS requirements within their areas of responsibility. Contribute to the development of functional/technical designs based on business/functional requirements. Independently analyze process flows including forms, reports, workflows, extensions, and interfaces. Support the development of interfaces from legacy and non-oracle systems to Oracle Financials and vice versa. Participate in system-level tests responsible for comparing actual results with expected results Provide technical advice on complex business process approaches and processes. Assist with gathering and eliciting information from existing business processes and supporting systems. Create appropriate documentation in work assignments such as technical requirements documents and business process flows.
