Job Description Developer: Visual Studio 2010, Oracle, SQL Server,

Short Description:
Programmer is working with peers to complete rewrite of the GEFS application. Responsible for coding, testing and deployment preparation. Programmer will be responsible for mentoring and providing knowledge transfer to peers.
Complete Description:
Years of Relevant Experience: 5 plus years

Preferred Education: 4 year college degree or equivalent technical study

Role Description:
-Review and understand the Application Teams work plan.
-Provide status of work to Team Lead.
-Engage in ongoing process improvement.
-Understands government business processes and operations.
-Leads and directs the work of others.
-Identify, track and resolve issues.
-Mentor and coach peers.
-Provide knowledge transfer to peers.
-Code and thoroughly test modules developed before integration with application.
-Coordinate work efforts with other team members.
-Prepare status reports for Project Manager
-Identify and track issues, risks, action items and their resolution
-Have knowledge of relational database and procedure languages, particularly SQL Server -Express, Oracle 8.1.7, PLSQL, C# with a strong understanding of using the .NET Entity Framework.
-Strong working knowledge of .NET Crystal Reports with SQL Server integration.
-Good problem solving skills.
-Communicate accurate and useful status updates.
-Ability to work in a team environment.
-Complete assigned tasks.
-Strong communication skills; both written and spoken.
