We are seeking an Oracle DBA to manage a large-scale environment, supporting all environment builds, including design, capacity planning, cluster setup, performance tuning and ongoing monitoring. The Candidate is required to perform Oracle and SQL Server database administration activities Responsibilities Perform regular maintenance of the Oracle databases including backups, restores, data pump, archiving, and review of logs for errors or potential problems. Regularly review space capacity and perform tasks to manage space usage through archiving or increasing disk space Responsible for database monitoring, troubleshooting Participation in Disaster Recovery drills Participation in on call support Required to work on MS SQL, Big data environments Excellent written and verbal communication skills Interact with application owners/developers and/or technical staff Ability to complete tasks and produce appropriate deliverables within project time schedules Must be organized, self-motivated and be able to participate in the knowledge transfer to other team members Work effectively with others in a team environment Carry work mobile and provide 24X7 Support, On Call Schedule participation Must document all work in ticketing system and manage tickets in their queue.
