Responsibilities: Responsible guiding the Database Administration team in migrating the enterprise database server projects to from prem Microsoft . Requirements: Experience migrating an prem database to ! Proficiency in the following database tasks performed for enterprise database server projects using and Microsoft . Proficiency in & Proficiency in implementation within Perform requirement and feasibility analysis for database systems providing technical recommendations to technical managers and the customer. Database design and layout. Develop and maintain database standards. Configure system resources including disk, memory and network resources. Install and upgrade database server products, client connectivity software and database support tools. Creation and maintenance of vendor delivered databases and user defined databases. Creation and maintenance of database objects: (tables, indexes, stored procedures, table spaces, etc.) Creation and maintenance of database logins, groups and roles. Implement and maintain security standards including database security, login security and object security. Implement and maintain database backup and restore standards and procedures for database systems including disaster recovery procedures. Proactively monitor the performance of database servers. Tune the database servers as needed. Perform preventive maintenance for database servers including database consistency checks, database integrity checks, database table and index maintenance. 1-3 years database administration experience with and Microsoft Server. Knowledge of the following Database Servers and Database Server Tools: Oracle Standard and Enterprise Server, Oracle Enterprise Manager Suite of Tools, Oracle Client, Oracle Plus, Sybase Adaptive Server, Sybase Central, Sybase Open Client, Microsoft Server, Microsoft Enterprise Manager Suite of Tools, Microsoft Client.
