Job Description Developer: Oracle, MS SQL, Java, DevOps Jenkins PowerShell

Description:

Day-to-Day Tasks include, but not limited to:

Primarily responsible for Supporting and Maintaining MS Access Applications.
Assist with modernizing MS Access Database applications written in MS Access, to other technologies (Oracle, MS SQL, Java).
Manage and develop data extracts and reporting.
Perform system testing and development of testing plans, presentation of training, and planning /execution of large enterprise data systems and applications.
Handle business and technical design and determine optimum solutions to meet business objectives.
Implement NYS SFS business processes and transactions files and remediate Microsoft Access systems per business requirements.
Technical troubleshooting on complex issues that span enterprise systems and multiple data sources requiring rapid resolution.
Automate development activities using Jenkins, PowerShell and other DevOps utilities.
Use a ticketing system to track and manage incidents, service requests, problems, changes, and release/deployment.

Mandatory Qualifications:

Is involved with all facets of the software development process, including the research, design, programming, testing and implementation of computer software.
60 - 84 months - Candidate is able to work independently, without assistance and provides guidance to others. May have an advanced education.

Preferred Qualifications:

84 months experience developing and supporting Microsoft Access databases / applications.
60 Months experience developing and supporting Oracle Databases.
60 months experience developing and supporting Microsoft SQL Databases.
60 months experience with database scripting languages (such as; SQL, PL/SQL).
60 months experience writing database triggers stored procedures, packages and functions.
24 months Developing and supporting Adobe fillable forms.
24 months experiences with Reporting/Business Intelligence tools (such as; Crystal, Business Objects, OBIEE)
