This module also includes purchasing and inventory. They will be working with the business users to understand issues/defects, define the requirements of what needs to happen. They will then work with the technical team and management to prioritize and get the technical work done. Then they will be creating test scripts and coordinating testing with users (all testing is UAT testing). Must haves: Oracle EBS – Supply Chain Application Support Requirements gathering and defining Creating test scripts Coordinating UAT testing Nice to have: OBIEE Financial modules in EBS – Payables EAM – Enterprise Asset Management Job Description: POSITION SUMMARY: The Oracle Business Analyst is responsible for application support for Oracle Purchasing, Inventory, Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), Payables and Business Intelligence reporting. The support analyst will interact with field personnel, as well as accounting and finance users, recommending and documenting new business process as well as training users in new functionality. The support analyst will possess proficient functional knowledge (R12.1.3) of Oracle Purchasing, Oracle Inventory, Oracle EAM, Oracle Payable and B.I. Reporting including the data integrations between these applications and Oracle Financials. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Works with the Operations business team to leverage existing Oracle functionality to drive standardization and simplification. Ensures that customizations are minimized. Resolves problems that are not solved in the initial call to the help desk. Provides application related process improvement. Point of contact for enhancement requests, customization, and new reports. Develops functional specifications and system design specifications to meet business requirements. Leads testing efforts. Identifies and tracks issues. Communicates changes to development team. Train business in use of new functionality. Adheres to change management policy. Periodic travel to field facilities as needed to accomplish responsibilities listed above. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: 8 years of experience within Oracle Supply Chain. This person will work closely with Field Personnel, as well as the Accounting and Finance team. Strong interpersonal skills are a must. Experience implementing and supporting version R12.1.3 of the Oracle Supply Chain and Oracle EAM. Experience supporting Oracle Supply Chain integration with Oracle Financials applications preferred. Experience personalizing forms through the Oracle Applications Framework. Schema level expertise of Oracle applications including: PO, INV, EAM, AP. Understanding of Application Object Library setups of custom concurrent programs. Advanced written and verbal communication skills. Advanced background and understanding of supply chain business principles, practices, and procedures. Advanced problem solving and negotiation skills. Strong communication, interpersonal, organization and planning skills.
