Position will consist of both programming and analytical work. • They are on version 8.9 with an upgrade to 9.1 scheduled for the end of this year/early part of next. • Current modules: GL, AP, ePro, Project Costing, Fixed Assets They are bringing AP in house which is a significant project so experience there would be a plus. • Has experience with PeopleSoft, preferably with v8.9 or more recent Finance modules. Client list includes: General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Accounts Payable, Procurement, eProcurement, Project Costing, eSettlement, eSupplier, Accounts Receivable, Billing, Enterprise Portal. Prefer candidates with experience with at least three of the modules listed. • Has experience with standard PeopleSoft development platforms: PeopleTools, SQL Manager, Application Designer, Application Engine, and Process Server. • Has participated in one or more PeopleSoft version upgrade(s) • Possesses knowledge of the software development life cycle through application of moderately complex to complex programming concepts and methodologies • Developed and implemented maintenance plans to address technical and business issues performing support and urgent problem resolution on software applications • Is experienced as an analyst; gathering, documentation, validation, communication. • Performed root cause analysis for complex system problems • Has developed moderately complex to complex and/or medium high to high risk applications • Can demonstrate knowledge of technical design alternatives and their implications • Self-motivated in execution of duties • Preferred Knowledge: Experience with Application Packages and XML Publisher, PS monitoring JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: • Support and maintain PeopleSoft Financial modules and other applications depending on technical skill • Coordinates business/end user testing • Conducts system research as part of design/estimation efforts • When so assigned, acts as a lead programmer, mentoring and overseeing other programmer analysts with less experience • Identifies opportunities for improving software by partnering with customers • Develops functional and technical design documents for complex applications • Conducts code reviews • Performs root cause analysis for complex system problems • Works under general supervision   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
