Qualifications include: Bachelors Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience. 8-10 years of any ERP experience preferred. Advantage ERP highly preferred Prior system administration experience in Advantage, PeopleSoft or Oracle ERP. Required Skills and Experience: Excellent understanding of the ERP application architecture, including the infrastructure, table structure, design standards and protocols, and delivered objects. Sound understanding of the ERP applications functionality and good business interaction to understand user needs / requirements and offer up sound solutions thereof. Strong expertise in the tools involved in administering the ERP system, including Change tools and change /configuration management. Strong experience and knowledge in relational database technologies and administration, preferably DB2. Solid understanding of work estimation methodology. Expertise with system tools for monitoring, testing, and debugging. Excellent analytical, design and problem solving skills. Solid skills in documentation and organization. Strong written and oral communication skills. Sound leadership and interpersonal skills. Primary Responsibilities include: Leads a ERP team consisting of functional SMEs and technical SMEs providing work management and general team management. Manages Guiding the creation and maintenance of the ERP system infrastructure, including administration of all application and web servers. Monitoring system performance and administering services for all of the ERP environments. Coordinating system maintenance (bundles, tax updates, fixes, etc). Providing input to server configuration and system tuning activities. Mentoring the System Administrator(s) and other ERP developers. Managing system codes and builds through the use of the StarTeam or other version control tool. Conducting deployments of projects to all of the ERP environments. This includes creation of code drops and builds. Providing accurate time estimates and maintaining communication with various Functional / Technical Leads and Project Managers. Creating and maintaining thorough and complete technical documentation. Occasional designing, coding and testing using Application design tools, Java tools, Query tools, Crystal Reports and Workflow. Managing time efficiently and handling multiple tasks concurrently. Additional Responsibilities include: Development and coding during application of vendor-supplied updates, fixes, and bundles.
