This additional resource is needed for DSL/OOO due to the time constraints of the sub-projects. *Required Skills: *Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interactprofessionally with a diverse group, including executives, managers, andsubject matter experts. *Experienced in executing Project Management methods and processesaccording to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK); *Ability to organize and facilitate meetings in a timely and efficient manner. *–Ability to communicate technical matters clearly in lay terms for fullcomprehension by non-technical users *Skill in the facilitation of team and client meetings. *Ability to deliver informative, well-organized presentations. *Understanding to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully. *Ability to apply knowledge in the areas of application programming,database and system design. *Strong analytical and project management skills required, including athorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs andtranslate them into software and operational requirements. *Excellent analytical and organizational skills, including the proven ability toadapt to a dynamic project environment and manage multiple projects. *Ability to identify critical issues with ease. *Confidence and an extensive knowledge of emerging industry practices tobe used when solving business problems. *Desired Skills: *Ability to push creative thinking beyond the boundaries of existing industrypractices and client mindsets. *Skill to generate enthusiasm among team members. *Ability to challenge others to develop as leaders while serving as a rolemodel. *Skill to effectively liaise between the business units, technology teams andsupport teams. *Ability to facilitate effective team interaction. *Willingness to participate in all team roles. *Ability to communicate effectively with staff and Contractors (Vendor staffon sub-projects) at all levels to identify needs and evaluate alternativebusiness solutions. *Ability to serve as the liaison between DSL/OOO and the sub-project teams. *Understand the components of running a fiscally successful project. *Skilled in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Calendar, Word, Excel, Project *Knowledge of SCRUM *oProject Management Professional (PMP) certification is required. oA bachelors degree in computer science or software engineering or a degreerelating to information systems is highly desirable, but does not substitute for therequired level of experience.
