This position will be assigned responsibilities involving the planning, execution, and finalization of data-related projects according to deadlines and within budget under the guidance of the OMES-IS Director of Data-Driven Services and under direct supervision of the OMES-IS Project Management Office General Requirements: The Project Manager will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, completion and closing of the defined project ensuring consistency with the Agencys strategy, commitments and goals. OMES expects Vendor staff to follow IT policies of the Agency and the State of Oklahoma Information Security Policies, Procedures and Guidelines, as well as policies on Confidentiality and Protection of Protected Health Information (PHI), Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). The position requirements include a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Business Management, Data Science, Statistics or other data-related field and five years of project management experience in an Information Technology enterprise environment; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one additional year of qualifying experience for each year of the required education. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Preference may be given to candidates who possess the following: PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification or equivalent, Scrum Master Certification or equivalent, and experience in an Education, Human Services, Health or Early Childhood field. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: · Experience with Agile project management methodology. · Strong familiarity with and the ability to use project management software. · Understanding and experience with the Project Management Institutes (PMI) Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) Guide and Standards. · Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with all levels of staff. · Strong analytical and problem solving skills and multi-tasking capabilities. · Demonstrated experience with System Development Life Cycle and Project Management methodologies with both COTS and in-house development. · Possesses a general understanding in the areas of application programming, database and system design, Master Data Management, Enterprise Data Lakes, and Data Pipelines. · Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented environment   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
