PMP IT Project Experience Monitoring PMBOK Conflict Resolution Analyst (Jobs in   Requirement id 15676 Job title Analyst Job location in Boise, ID Skills required Quality Assurance Experience, Project Management, PMP, IT Project Experience Monitoring PMBOK C Open Date 25-Sep-2013 Close Date Job type Contract Duration 10 Months Compensation DOE Status requirement --- Job interview type ---    Email Recruiter: coolsoft Job Description Analyst: Quality Assurance Experience, Project Management, PMP, IT Project Experience Monitoring PMBOK C [Note: Start Date: 10/07/13 End Date: 07/31/14] [Note: Submission Deadline: 10/2/2013] Description: • Provide objective assessments on project management practices including: o Integration management o Stakeholder management o Scope management, including requirements and change control o Time and schedule management, including forecasting o Cost management, including forecasting o Quality management o Human resources management o Communications management o Risk management o Procurement management • Verify that needed elements of the project management plan exist, are being followed, and kept current as project circumstances change over time. • Advise on appropriate application of PMBOK standards • Participate in key meetings, to include: o Executive steering committee o Recurring project status meetings o Change control board o Deliverables walk-throughs o Work sessions, as appropriate to gauge effectiveness of internal practices • Supplement internal measures as appropriate to convey a comprehensive picture of the project condition • Provide observations and facilitate discussions with project leadership on potential future challenges • Share situational experience with project leadership as issues arise • Provide industry guidelines and templates as requested • Verify appropriate attention is being given to field readiness throughout the project life cycle Required Skills: • Minimum six years of quality assurance experience • Minimum of six years of project and process management experience • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification • Experience with governmental IT projects, preferably including the Idaho Transportation Department • Expertise in the full IT project life-cycle including initiation, planning, executing, closing/transition, and monitoring • Experience reporting to different stakeholder audiences (e.g. project management, executive steering committee) • Expertise in designing and utilizing a PMBOK-aligned quality assurance program • Experience in designing and implementing performance measurement systems • Proven situational diagnosis and coaching results • Experience with custom-development and transfer projects • Experience with vendor-contracted projects • Experience in conflict mediation and resolution • Experience in assessing user-readiness for system implementation   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
