SUPERVISION RECEIVED: The Program Manager reports to the Executive Sponsors, including the Registrar of Motor Vehicles and the Chief Information Officer. SUPERVISION EXERCISED: The Program Manager is responsible for managing a core team of five to seven project consultants and the work effort of an estimated 75 staff associated with the project. The system redesign project will engage one major contractor to conduct the major portion of the ALARS modernization effort. This specific contract will be managed by the Office of the CIO, and the CIO is responsible for their deliverables. The Program Manager is responsible for ensuring that business requirements are clearly defined to industry standards so that the Office of the CIO can deliver software as specified and required. In addition to supervision of consultants and staff affiliated with the project, the Program Manager will directly supervise at least one full-time project analyst/administrator. ENVIRONMENTAL WORKING CONDITIONS: • This position can expect a 40-hour week as the norm with necessary adjustments to meet deadlines and to meet personal commitments. • This position will be based at the Registry of Motor Vehicles Central Offices located at 25 Newport Avenue, Quincy; some travel between this and other MassDOT/RMV locations and vendor/partner locations may be required.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
