DETAILED PROJECT SCOPE The vendor, in cooperation with NYSDOT, will cleanse and normalize data from the following databases: Safety, Financial, Planning/Projects, Pavement, Maintenance, Assets and Administrative. Once the vendor has connected to these databases via the Geospatial data warehouse and made the data available, NYSDOT shall identify the tables that require cleansing. NYSDOT will provide a list of known data inconsistencies. NYSDOT will provide at least one primary contact for each database, with whom the vendor can work to discuss and document these known inconsistencies. The vendor will create cleaning rules and/or scripts that will resolve known inconsistencies where possible, with exceptions directed to NYSDOT for review. The vendor will also search through each dataset to identify additional data inconsistencies. The vendor shall be responsible for documenting these additional data inconsistencies for review by the NYSDOT team with proposed correction where possible. NYSDOT will decide which corrections will be implemented within their database, and which should be handled with additional rules and transformations. The vendor shall document all cleansing rules and transformations for NYSDOT to perform quality control checks. NYSDOT shall review and confirm business rules used by the vendor. The vendor shall work with NYSDOT to identify an initial set of dashboards to be created by the vendor. The vendor shall create up to seven (7) dashboards per business system as an initial set of dashboards. These dashboards may be a re-creation of reports currently used by NYSDOT or completely new dashboards. NYSDOT shall identify which datasets the initial set of dashboards will visualize. The vendor shall provide a phased rollout of each dashboard, allowing NYSDOT to provide comments on each dashboard. NYSDOT shall be allotted two (2) iterations before the dashboards are made final. The vendors team shall consist of experienced project managers and data scientists, who can provide guidance on best practices and who are experts in data visualization and analysis techniques. The vendor shall create a NYSDOT instance within its platform in order for the above mentioned Geospatial data warehouse to be accessed by the vendors system. This instance of the vendors system shall be cloud-based while accessing a Geospatial data warehouse on premise (initial phase) and either a new data warehouse on premises or a cloud-based solution (follow-on phase). The vendor will create all Administrative user accounts. NYSDOT shall provide the vendor a list of all Admins to be added. NYSDOT may also provide a list of users who will have access to each of the above mentioned data tables from the Geospatial data warehouse. The vendor will provide remote training to administrators on Admin privileges, operations, and provide documentation on the different permissions for each type of user license. The vendor will provide four (4) 2-hour remote web-based training sessions for NYSDOT admin users during the first year. The vendor will also provide four (4) 2-hour in-person training sessions for NYSDOT staff. These in-person trainings shall take place within the same week (the same as the training sessions for the regular users). Training sessions will include: ? Understanding cleansing tools within the platform ? Creating data manipulation rules ? Creating dataset relationships if applicable ? Building self-serve data exploration dashboards ?
