Client info :BNSF Railway Description : The Sr. PM will be managing several high visibility initiatives within the organization. The projects could span include Cyber Security, SAP Security and Identity and Access Management related projects. The PM will be working with every level of the organization, including C-level stakeholders. The PM will need to demonstrate that they can work multiple projects simultaneously and with proficiency and limited impact to deliverables. Teamwork, strong relationship management, dealing with ambiguity, and collaboration skills are critical to this role. The PM must be familiar with managing projects in Waterfall, Agile AND Hybrid methodologies. The PM will primarily manage projects leveraging the waterfall methodology. However, some of the teams that the PM will engage with are using Agile or Hybrid methods to manage their workload. Therefore, it is critical that the PM understand how to integrate with these teams and understand the different methodologies used within our clients. The PM will need to ensure the security project work is prioritized, executed, and communicated in all key security and AppDev meetings, including the Program Increment Planning sessions, as well as key project and program updates. The PM should be comfortable in working in ambiguity and provide recommendations for organization and clarity in an environment that has several competing priorities. An example of security projects the PM will be assisting with are as follows: o Lead PM efforts in Vulnerability Management Program. This includes managing the RFP process, helping to narrow down vendor selection, Proof of Concept (POC), select potential vendor integrator / implementation partner, and execution of final solution. o Lead the SOW or Request for Bid (RFP) activities (end-to-end) based on project that he/she is working on o Manage or participate in project budget management o Manage or participate in (POC) sessions and coordinate all key activities o Strong change enablement and communication across the organization, strong organization/planning capabilities and risk mitigation and remediation skills are essential to this role. Other key priority projects may follow based on leadership prioritization and needs. o Assist in various Cyber Security team projects that require dependency, risk and issue ownership Essential Functions • Effectively communicate to all levels of the organization • Ability to manage multiple priorities • Leads, mentors, and manages project teams • Provide detailed project plan and roadmap for all levels of leadership • Director and VP level communications • Create and publish Program Charters, Risk, Decision and Action Logs • Manage Agile Kanban board with Agile Release Engineer, Product Owners and/or Scrum Master, as applicable to the project • A high level of independence to lead and influence others. • Ability to drive projects from both a tactical and strategic perspective. • Manage key metrics associated with Security Program • Provide Program summaries key stakeholders on a weekly basis • Manage vendor relationships; manage all onsite logistics • Manage key meetings, agenda, notes, decks • Provide status reporting on key program status to various stakeholders • Work with Project team to ensure activities are completed as scheduled • Support Project team as needed with budget creation, tracking and reporting as needed • Manage and Support Project team in tracking key project metrics • Provide on boarding support for new contractors or employees • Manage project SharePoint site administration for key project de   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
