The work scope of the consultant will include requirements gathering, application design, application development, testing, deployment and technical support. This Scope of Work (SOW) is for the consulting services required to extend the capability of the staff by modifying Pacbase systems as needed. The Pacbase tool will generate COBOL for the Fujitsu Compiler for execution in a Windows Server environment. The major tasks will include: Write and modify Pacbase code. Perform unit and system testing. Write documentation per instruction. Support user acceptance testing. Assist the business area in updating data conditions. Plan and execute data migration (including data mapping, migration and validation work). Plan and execute the implementation of the systems. Perform post-implementation support. Assist in the resolution of all anomalies in processing. Write and run scans to assist in problem identification in the data of the Systems. Primary Skills : A minimum of eight (8) years of verifiable Information Technology (IT) programmer experience. A minimum of five (5) years of verifiable experience using Structured Query Language (SQL). A minimum of two (2) years of verifiable experience utilizing Pacbase for relational systems on a Unisys OS/2200 or IBM mainframe system (preference will be given to candidates with Unisys OS/2200 experience). A minimum of eighteen (18) months of experience utilizing Pacbase within the past three (3) years. A minimum of three (3) years of verifiable experience working directly with end-users to define requirements and provide technical advice and assistance in a large-scale environment.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
