BACKGROUND, OVERVIEW & GOALS

Workforce Solutions at Front Range Community College is an auxiliary division of the college that provides a range of non-credit and credit classes in technical and essential skills training and related services customized to the workforce development needs of the business community. In order to meet those needs Workforce Solutions contracts with trainers/consultants who represent the college and have subject matter expertise, strong instructional skills, and significant experience with training, coaching, consulting, and hands-on implementation. The nature of Workforce Solutions work is project-based and not regular full-time employment.
In order to meet the needs of the Department of Labor (DOL) H1-B Technical Skills Training Grant (HG-227094-12-60-A-8) awarded to FRCC, Workforce Solutions is seeking proposals from qualified consultants in the areas of Project Management.

Statement of Purpose

The term “Request for Proposal” means a solicitation of a formal sealed proposal, following submission of which, changes in proposals and/or prices are allowed; and the offer deemed by the College to be the most advantageous for the College in terms of criteria, as designated in the RFP, is accepted. This RFP provides prospective vendors with sufficient information to enable them to prepare and submit proposals for consideration by the College to achieve the goals of this RFP.

2.4 Scope

This RFP contains instructions governing the proposal to be submitted and identifies material to be included therein, mandatory requirements that must be met to be eligible for consideration, and other requirements to be met by each vendor.

STATEMENT OF WORK


Corporate Solutions at Front Range Community College is an auxiliary division of the college that provides a range of non-credit technical and soft skills training and related services customized to the workforce development needs of the business community. In order to meet those needs, Corporate Solutions contracts with trainers who represent the college and have subject matter expertise, strong instructional skills, and significant experience with training, curriculum development, coaching, and hands-on implementations. The nature of Corporate Solutions work is project based and not regular full time employment.
Corporate Solutions is seeking proposals from qualified consultants in the area of project management. Compensation will be up to $25.00 per hour.
Statement of Work
Engagements may require as little as one or two hours of work on any given occasion and as much as several days or weeks and may require availability for meetings and consultations with limited advance notice.

Consultant will:
• Maintain integrity in relationship roles and communication with college staff and business client
• Ensure professionalism and quality in providing clear and accurate data for project progress reports, benchmarking, and other documentation and tracking as needed
• Provide input to college staff on the design, development, and implementation of services
• Participate in and support sales calls as needed
• Participate in meetings as needed with college staff and with business client(s) to discuss client service strategies
• Coordinate details of trainings, calculate budgets, visit and reserve venues, secure trainers
• Oversee contracts
• Manage training timelines and ensure deadlines are met

Project Manager/Consultant criteria
• Bachelors Degree preferred
• Demonstrated significant individual experience providing project management and hands-on consulting
• Proven communication, customer
