Candidate will be responsible for end user moves through the relocation initiative working to ensure timely moves of end users and ensuring they are properly connected to resources to minimize downtime. Candidate will also be responsible for a significant amount of network troubleshooting, line tracing, and other miscellaneous network deliverables. Candidate should be strong in both networking operations and desk-side customer service. Job Responsibilities and Duties: - Completing hardware break/fix scenarios such as general troubleshooting, hardware and connectivity issues; as well as replacement of failed hardware components. - Network cable (Cat5e / Cat6e) installations and removals - Network cabinet/equipment installations rack, stack and patching (when necessary) - Network cabling diagnostics and trace-backs - Day to day delivery of all data moves, add/change (MAC) requests including hardware installs and network cabling Associate IT endpoint relocation (within Glastonbury office location only), breakdown and hookup of all computer equipment and verification of connectivity upon completion Required Skills: - Experience with network/server and other IT hardware installation - Experience with network patch cable installation - Experience with Desktop Support / Computer Equipment moves and connectivity testing - Must be physically capable of lifting a maximum of 50 lbs, and/or spending extended time in a data center environment - Must be comfortable working with data drops, and working within ceiling and raided floor environments for extended periods   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
