Job Description Administrator: Windows, Mac OS X, Perl, XML Java

Duties include:

Administration of Linux scientific modeling servers and Windows scientific applications, deploying application updates, managing user accounts and access rights, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem resolution and escalation.
Working with scientists to effectively utilize modeling software and support ongoing activities.
Administration of clinical imaging systems and applications, deploying application updates, managing user accounts and access rights, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem resolution and escalation.
Working with external Contract Research Organizations (CROs) and academic radiology sites to establish electronic data exchange and support ongoing activities.
Supporting gRED clinical imaging trials/studies, including image workflow processes (image transfer, data processing, QC and image archival) and data management.
Light programming in Linux, Perl, XML, and Java.

Requirements:

5+ years experience working with Windows, Mac and Linux systems, including systems administration for all 3 platforms.
Experience with Linux and Windows servers, modeling and simulation software would be a major advantage.
3+ years programming experience like Perl, XML, and Java.
Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills.
Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences, both verbally and written.
Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasks and attention to detail.
Familiarity of Biotech or Pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
BS degree required, Computer Science or Scientific field preferred.
