The AWS Cloud Administrator will provide a key role as part of the AWS Infrastructure team. This contract may have the opportunity to renew starting next fiscal year, July 1, 2020. Responsibilities/Experience/Qualifications: Primary Responsibilities • AWS operational duties to include functions such as maintaining existing AWS environment, automation, monitoring metrics, disaster recovery/backup, capacity planning. • Create custom scripts for automation. • Create additional AWS and application monitoring systems. • Ensure documentation is created and updated including design, development and deployment documentation. • Ensure assigned project tasks are completed in a timely manner and project milestone dates are met. • Work closely with team members and ensure all team members are informed of project activities, issues, and resolutions. Qualifications • 2+ years of hands-on AWS/Cloud experience; BS/CS desired. • Strong scripting experience (powershell/python). • Strong Windows and cloud security background. • Proven experience and expertise in AWS operational monitoring and administration. • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. • AWS Certification(s) preferred. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Linux experience a plus. Top requirements • Solid experience supporting highly available applications on Windows. • Advanced scripting (powershell/python) and Lambda experience. • Solid experience with networking and tools for performance monitoring and troubleshooting. • Sense of urgency workstyle. • Work to be done onsite at worksite address.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
